Overview
Team management lets an organisation share one ReBattery account across the people who need to work on listings, offers, deals, recycling enquiries, and compliance records.
Only account owners can invite new team members or change team settings. Members can use the account once they accept their invite, but they cannot manage ownership or account-level routing unless an owner changes their role.
Before You Invite Someone
Make sure the person should have access to the organisation account, not just a single conversation or deal update. Team members may be able to see account activity, deal workspaces, listing information, messages, and compliance documents linked to the account.
You need the person's work email address. Use the email address they should use to sign in to ReBattery.
Invite a Team Member
- Sign in to ReBattery.
- Go to Settings → Organization → General.
- Find Team management.
- Click Edit.
- Click Add new member.
- Enter the person's email address.
- Click Invite.
ReBattery sends an invitation email to that address. The invitation appears under Pending invites until the person accepts it.
If the invite already exists, the platform shows Invite already sent. If the email address is not valid, the platform asks you to enter a valid email address.
What the Invited Person Does
The invited person opens the email and follows the invitation link. If they do not already have a ReBattery login, they will create one as part of accepting the invite.
Once accepted, they become a member of your organisation account and appear in the team list.
Roles
ReBattery currently shows two account roles in team management:
| Role | What it means |
|---|---|
| Owner | Can manage organisation settings, team members, roles, and account-level email routing. |
| Member | Can work inside the account, but cannot manage team settings or restricted organisation settings. |
To change a role:
- Go to Settings → Organization → General.
- Find Team management.
- Click Edit.
- Use the role selector beside the team member.
- Click Save.
Keep at least one trusted owner on the account. If ownership is assigned incorrectly, contact support before making further changes.
Primary Member
The team list may show a Primary badge beside one member. This identifies the primary contact recorded for the account. It helps the ReBattery team and platform workflows know which person is usually responsible for account-level communication.
Changing roles does not automatically change the primary contact.
Account-Level Email Recipient
Team management also controls who receives account-level emails for deals, offers, and compliance updates.
To change the recipient:
- Go to Settings → Organization → General.
- Find Team management.
- Click Edit.
- Choose a person under Email recipient.
- Click Save.
The selected recipient receives account-level email updates. The platform still records deal activity, messages, and status changes in the dashboard for the account.
Pending Invites
Pending invites are shown in the Team management section. An invite remains pending until the recipient accepts it.
If someone cannot find the email, ask them to check spam or junk folders first. If they still cannot find it, contact support with the invited email address.
Troubleshooting
I cannot see Team management
Team management is available from Settings → Organization → General. If you cannot access that page, you may not be an account owner.
The invite says it already exists
An invitation has already been sent to that email address. Ask the recipient to use the original email, or contact support if the invite needs to be refreshed.
The invited person joined the wrong account
Contact support with the person's email address and the organisation account they should belong to. Do not create duplicate accounts to work around it.
