Collection and Handoff

Scheduling, site requirements, and completing the physical handoff.

Updated 1 April 2026

Collection Schedule

Every listing includes a weekly collection schedule. This tells buyers which days and hours you can accommodate a pickup, which reduces coordination delays after a deal is agreed.
You configure the schedule per listing during the listing wizard. You can set independent time windows for each weekday (Monday through Friday). Days you mark as unavailable are hidden from buyers.
Default windows are 9am to 5pm. You can narrow or widen these to match your actual site operations.

Site Equipment

When creating a listing, declare whether forklift access is available at your site. Buyers moving large or heavy battery units need this information to plan their collection logistics.
If your site has loading constraints — bay height, weight limits, access restrictions — add them to the listing description so buyers can assess before committing.

Collection Address

The collection address is set at the listing level. This can differ from your account's registered business address, for example if stock is held at a warehouse.

Coordinating Collection After Deal Completion

Once a deal reaches the collection stage, both parties use the deal workspace to confirm the collection date and time. The agreed schedule from your listing is the starting point — either side can propose a specific slot from within the available windows.

Failed Collections

If a buyer fails to collect within the agreed window, contact them through the deal workspace messaging thread to reschedule. Persistent no-shows can be escalated to the platform support team.

Completing the Deal

Once the battery has left your site and you have confirmed handoff, mark the collection step as complete in the deal workspace. This triggers payout release to your connected Stripe account.
Do not mark collection complete until the battery has physically left your custody. Early completion may affect dispute resolution if issues arise.
