Your Account
Your ReBattery account represents your organisation on the platform. It holds your business details, contact information, and role-specific settings. All deals, listings, and communications are tied to your account.
Updating Your Business Details
Go to Settings → Profile to update:
- Business name and display name
- Registered address
- Website and contact details
- About or description text (shown publicly on your profile)
Changes to your business name or address take effect immediately on your profile. In-progress deals are not affected by profile updates — the terms already agreed remain as signed.
Contact Details
Your contact details are used for deal communications and platform notifications. Keep these up to date so counterparties and the support team can reach you when needed.
You can manage contact details from the Profile section of your account settings.
Team Members
Owners can invite colleagues to the same organisation account from Settings → Organization. Team management lets you add new members, set owner or member roles, and choose who receives account-level emails for deals, offers, and compliance updates.
See Adding Team Members for the full step-by-step guide.
Billing and Tax Details
Your billing identity, addresses, tax IDs, and payout setup all affect payment and invoice readiness. See Tax Readiness for a practical checklist.
Notification Preferences
ReBattery sends email notifications for key events: new offers, deal updates, payment confirmations, and messages from counterparties. You can adjust which notifications you receive from Settings → Notifications.
Turning off a notification type means you will not receive emails for those events. The platform still records all activity in your dashboard and deal workspaces, so you will not miss anything when you log in.
Supplier: Setting Up Payouts
To receive payouts, add payout details to your ReBattery account. You may list and transact before setup is active, but the seller payable cannot be released until it is active.
To set up payouts:
- Go to Settings → Billing.
- Click Set up payouts.
- Complete Stripe's hosted recipient form. Stripe collects the bank details directly and may request business or identity evidence.
- Return to ReBattery when the payout status is active.
Stripe's verification requirements vary by country. The process typically takes a few minutes but may require additional documentation in some cases.
If payout status is pending or restricted, reopen the hosted setup from ReBattery. Sellers do not need to manage a Stripe merchant dashboard.
See Supplier Payouts for detail on payout timing and what happens after deal completion.
Recycler: Managing Profile Visibility
Your recycler profile is publicly listed in the directory by default. If you need to pause incoming enquiries — for example due to capacity constraints — you can set your profile to inactive.
To toggle visibility:
- Go to Settings → Profile.
- Toggle your profile status to Inactive.
Inactive profiles are hidden from the recycler directory. Existing deals and deal workspaces are not affected. Reactivate your profile when you are ready to receive new enquiries.
See Recycler Directory and Profiles for more on how your profile appears to buyers and suppliers.
Account Security
Your account is protected by your login credentials. If you signed up via Google, your Google account security settings apply.
Password and Sign-In
Password Reset
If you need to change your password, use the password reset link on the sign-in page. A reset link will be sent to your registered email address.
Google Sign-In
If you signed up using Google, your account security is managed through your Google account settings. You do not have a separate ReBattery password.
Suspected Compromise
If you believe your account has been compromised, change your password immediately (or revoke Google access) and contact the support team. Include your registered email address and any suspicious activity you noticed.
Closing Your Account
Account closure requests are handled by the support team. Contact us with your registered email address and the reason for closure. Accounts with active deals cannot be closed until those deals are completed or cancelled.
Contacting Support
If you cannot find the answer you need in these documentation pages, contact the support team. Include your registered email address and, where relevant, your deal reference number. The team will respond as soon as possible.
