What Is ReBattery?
ReBattery is a B2B marketplace for used, end-of-life, and surplus battery stock. It connects three groups of organisations in a single transaction workflow:
- Suppliers who need to move battery inventory — whether from electric vehicles, industrial equipment, energy storage systems, or manufacturing surplus
- Buyers who purchase battery stock for second-life applications, resale, or parts
- Recyclers who process end-of-life batteries and issue the documentation required to close the waste chain
The platform handles listings, offers, compliance documents, agreements, payments, and recycling confirmation in one place.
How the Marketplace Works
Suppliers publish listings with technical specifications, condition declarations, pricing, and collection availability. Buyers browse the marketplace and either purchase at a fixed price or submit an offer to negotiate. Recyclers are listed in a public directory; suppliers and buyers send recycling enquiries directly.
When an offer is accepted or a Buy Now action is taken, both parties enter a shared deal workspace. The workspace tracks every step — agreement signing, payment, collection, and completion — with a clear record for both sides.

Role Guides
If You Are a Supplier
Your starting point is the supplier dashboard. From there you can create listings, review incoming offers, and manage active deals.
To list your first battery stock:
- Go to Listings → New Listing in your supplier dashboard.
- Complete the listing wizard: battery specs, condition declaration, compliance documents, photos, pricing, and collection schedule.
- Publish the listing. It appears in the marketplace immediately.
Buyers can then submit offers or use Buy Now if you have set a fixed price. You will receive a notification when an offer arrives.
See Supplier Listings and Pricing and Offers for the full detail on each step.
If You Are a Buyer
Your starting point is the marketplace at
/marketplace/listings. You can browse without an account, but you need to be signed in to submit an offer or use Buy Now.To make your first purchase:
- Use the filters to find stock matching your chemistry, format, location, and quantity requirements.
- Open a listing to see full specs, condition declaration, and compliance documents.
- Click Buy Now on a fixed-price listing to proceed directly to a deal, or click Make Offer on a negotiated listing to open a conversation with the supplier.
See the Buyer Guide for the full purchase flow.
If You Are a Recycler
Your starting point is the recycler dashboard. You receive enquiries from suppliers and buyers who want to send battery stock for processing.
To start receiving enquiries:
- Complete your public profile during onboarding: accepted battery categories, location, and a description of your processing capabilities.
- Your profile appears in the recycler directory immediately after onboarding.
- When an enquiry arrives, you will receive a notification. You can accept, counter, or decline from your dashboard.
See Recycler Enquiries and Recycler Directory Profile for full detail.
What to Expect After Signing Up
Once your listing is published or your recycler profile is active, offers and enquiries depend on current marketplace activity for your battery type and location. The platform does not guarantee response times.
If you have questions, the Troubleshooting and FAQs page covers the most common issues. For anything not covered there, contact the support team directly.
