Reference
The Tesla Model Y LFP battery is the pack in Standard Range and base RWD cars built in Shanghai or Berlin. It comes with cells from two different suppliers: CATL in Shanghai-built cars and BYD (Blade) in Berlin-built RWD cars from May 2023, so check where the car was built.
Note: Sources give 55 to 65 kWh, depending on the cell supplier, the year and whether usable or gross capacity is meant, so we give no figure.
Note: Whether packs from the 2025 refresh fit earlier cars is not confirmed.
Each fact is confirmed by two independent sources: Tesla's SEC filings, emergency response guide and VIN filings (one source), plus ADAC, InsideEVs, autoevolution, electrive, CarNewsChina, CleanTechnica, Electrek, CnEVPost and Autocar. Tesla publishes no Model Y capacities, so we give none. Facts we could not confirm twice are left out. Checked . Sources
