Recycler Directory Profile

Managing your public profile and how buyers find you.

Updated 1 April 2026

The Recycler Directory

The ReBattery recycler directory is publicly accessible. Buyers and suppliers searching for recycling options browse it to find processors that match their battery type, location, and requirements.
A complete, accurate profile means better-matched enquiries and less time filtering out batches you cannot process.

What Your Profile Shows

Your public recycler profile displays:
  • Business name and tagline
  • Location (city/region)
  • Accepted battery categories and chemistries
  • Contact details (if you have enabled public contact)
  • A brief description of your processing capabilities

Setting Up Your Profile

Your profile is created during the onboarding flow. To update it after setup, go to your account settings and select the Profile section.
You can edit:
  • Business name and tagline
  • Description and capabilities text
  • Accepted categories (used for directory filtering)
  • Contact preferences

Accepted Battery Categories

This field determines how you appear in filtered directory searches. Set it to reflect what you can reliably process. Common categories include:
  • Lithium-ion (NMC, LFP, NCA, LCO)
  • Lithium metal
  • Lead-acid (VRLA, flooded)
  • NiMH and other chemistries
If you accept all categories, you can mark your profile accordingly.

Location and Coverage Area

Location is used for proximity-based filtering in the directory. If you collect from a wide area or operate across multiple sites, note your coverage area in your description.

Visibility

Your profile is visible to all platform users and to the public. Enquiries can only be submitted by registered users.
If you need to pause enquiry intake (for example, due to capacity constraints), you can set your profile to inactive from your account settings. Inactive profiles are hidden from directory listings until you reactivate.
