Reference
E-GMP packs are built into the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6, the Kia EV6 and the Genesis GV60. They are 800 V packs, and every E-GMP car uses one standard module type built from pouch cells, in different numbers for each size. The first Ioniq 5 and EV6 used SK Innovation cells. No source says an E-GMP pack from one car can go into another, so compare the label and part number with your car.
Ioniq 5 and EV6, 2021 to 2024
The E-GMP 58 kWh battery is the smaller size in the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6 from 2021 to 2024. Each is an 800 V pack built from one standard module type of pouch cells; no source says one car's pack fits the other.
Built into
Ioniq 5, 2021 to 2022
The E-GMP 72.6 kWh battery is the first Long Range pack of the Hyundai Ioniq 5, built from 2021 to 2022: an 800 V pack built from one standard module type of pouch cells.
Built into
EV6, Ioniq 5, Ioniq 6 and GV60, before the 84 kWh pack
The E-GMP 77.4 kWh battery is the long-range size in the Kia EV6, Hyundai Ioniq 5 (from the 2023 model year), Ioniq 6 and Genesis GV60, until 84 kWh replaced it. Each is an 800 V pack built from one standard module type of pouch cells; no source says one car's pack fits another.
Built into
Ioniq 6, before its update
The E-GMP 53 kWh battery is the Standard Range pack of the Hyundai Ioniq 6, from 2022 until its update: an 800 V pack built from one standard module type of pouch cells.
Built into
Updated Ioniq 5, EV6 and Ioniq 6, from 2024
The E-GMP 63 kWh battery replaced the 58 kWh pack in the updated Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6 from 2024, and the 53 kWh pack in the updated Ioniq 6: an 800 V pack, no heavier than the 58 kWh pack.
Built into
Updated Ioniq 5, EV6, Ioniq 6 and GV60, from 2024
The E-GMP 84 kWh battery replaced the 77.4 kWh pack in the updated Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6 from 2024, and later the Ioniq 6 and Genesis GV60: an 800 V pack that holds more energy but is no heavier.

Not confirmed. Both cars were built with 58 and 77.4 kWh packs, and later 63 and 84 kWh packs, from the same standard module type, at 800 V. No source says an E-GMP pack from one car can go into another, so compare the label and part number with your car.
800 V. E-GMP cars can also charge at 400 V chargers.
They replaced the 58 and 77.4 kWh packs in the 2024 updates of the Ioniq 5 and EV6, and are no heavier. The updated Ioniq 6 moved from 53 and 77.4 kWh to 63 and 84 kWh, and the 2025 GV60 from 77.4 to 84 kWh.
Hyundai Ioniq 5 packs with a fixed price on ReBattery are listed from £1,663 (72.6 kWh) to £5,000 (77.4 kWh) right now. The price depends on condition and measured health, and some sellers take offers instead. Fitting by an EV garage costs extra.
