The badge number means a different pack on each car, so check the model and year too.

Questions
Still unsure which pack is right? A specialist can check fitment with you.
Talk to a specialistNo. On the e-tron (2019 to 2022), 50 means the 71 kWh pack and 55 the 95 kWh pack. On the Q8 e-tron (2023 to 2025), 50 means a 95 kWh pack (89 kWh usable) and 55 the 114 kWh pack. Check the model name and year as well as the badge.
Two Audi packs are 95 kWh gross. The e-tron 55 (2019 to 2022) pack had LG Chem pouch cells at launch and 83.6 or about 86 kWh usable. The Q8 e-tron 50 (2023 to 2025) pack is 89 kWh usable. No source confirms the two are the same pack. Ask for the car's model and year, and a photo of the label.
No. The e-tron 50 pack has 324 prismatic cells in 27 modules (71 kWh gross). The e-tron 55 pack had 432 pouch cells in 36 modules at launch (95 kWh gross).
In the US, Audi recalled certain 2019 to 2022 e-tron and 2020 to 2022 e-tron Sportback cars in December 2023 (campaign 23V-867) because some battery modules may overheat. Dealers replace affected modules where necessary, free of charge. Ask the seller whether the car was covered and the work was done.
Audi e-tron packs with a fixed price on ReBattery are listed from £1,663 to £7,500 (114 kWh) right now. The price depends on condition and measured health, and some sellers take offers instead. Fitting by an EV garage costs extra.
