What you're buying

18 Sungrow ST3727KWH-3450UD-MV containerised battery systems from two UK grid-scale sites, built 2020. Each 40 ft container holds 3,727 kWh nameplate (10 racks of 280 Ah LFP cells) and pairs with an external 3.45 MVA Sungrow power conversion unit (SC3450UD-MV) and medium-voltage transformer. 67 MWh nameplate across the 18 units; containers can be split.

History: about five years of grid frequency response. Sungrow site capacity tests in November and December 2025 measured about 90% of installed capacity at the meter, with round-trip efficiency of 90 to 91%.

Release: the new site owner is replacing the batteries site by site during 2027; collection dates are confirmed with buyers. Cell supplier reported as CATL, to be confirmed. Weight per container to be confirmed (Sungrow's brochure lists 45.5 t for this model).
