Reference
The Mercedes EQA and EQB 66.5 kWh battery is the pack in the EQA 250 and the all-wheel-drive 300 4MATIC and 350 4MATIC from 2021: 66.5 kWh usable, with no gross figure published. A US-market EQB 300 or 350 4MATIC is not confirmed to have it.
Note: Sources disagree on later cars: electrive says the 2023 facelift kept 66.5 kWh in every version but the 250+, while ADAC lists 70.5 kWh for some 350 4MATIC cars from late 2024 and 300 4MATIC cars from 2025. Check the label.
Note: Sources disagree on the cell maker of this pack, which may vary by market and build date, so we do not name one.
Each fact is confirmed by two independent sources: Mercedes-Benz press material and recall filings (one source), plus ADAC, Autocar, Auto Express, electrive and NHTSA. Facts we could not confirm twice are left out. Checked . Sources
Questions
Still unsure which pack is right? A specialist can check fitment with you.
Talk to a specialistYes. Both use the 66.5 kWh pack in the all-wheel-drive 300 4MATIC and 350 4MATIC (and the EQA 250), and the 70.5 kWh pack in the front-wheel-drive 250+. A US-market EQB 300 or 350 4MATIC is not confirmed to have the 66.5 kWh pack; check the label.
Mercedes EQA 66.5 kWh packs with a fixed price on ReBattery are listed from £3,333 to £7,708 right now. The price depends on condition and measured health, and some sellers take offers instead. Fitting by an EV garage costs extra.
We cannot tell from the figure. Mercedes gives only the usable figures, 66.5 and 70.5 kWh; we found no published gross figure for either pack. Ask the seller for the car's badge and a photo of the pack label.
Yes, for packs with Farasis Energy cells in cars built up to mid-2024, which include the 70.5 kWh pack in the EQA 250+ and EQB 250+. Mercedes first updated the battery software and limited charging to 80% (US recall 25V-050, February 2025). The final fix is a new battery, fitted free of charge (US recall 26V-073, February 2026). In the US the recall also covers 2022 to 2024 EQB 300 4MATIC and 350 4MATIC cars. Ask the seller for the car's VIN and whether the battery was replaced.
Check the badge and build date on the car's documents, then the label on the pack. Send us a photo of the label and we will check.
You have 7–14 business days to inspect it. Raise it with evidence and the seller is not paid until it is resolved.
