What you're buying
22 BYD Standard Containerised BESS units (1-hour system, C15 platform) from an operational UK grid-scale site, built 2019. Each 40 ft high-cube container is self-contained with integrated PCS, BMS, HVAC and fire suppression: 1,577 kWh nameplate, rated 1.26 MW / 1.26 MWh at the site. 330 Ah prismatic LFP cells.
History: about six years of grid frequency response since late 2019. Site meter readings in July 2025 show 590 to 1,240 full cycles per unit and round-trip efficiency of 81 to 91% (most units 89 to 90%).
Available in 3 to 6 months, as the site is repowered. Containers can be split.
