2 unused BYD containerised battery energy storage systems (model CS40HN-P1260B1260-E-R1), manufactured 2018 and never deployed. Each container: 1.26 MWh / 1.26 MVA, 8 battery strings and 2 x 630 kVA PCS. 2.52 MWh across both; available individually or together.The systems have been in storage in the UK for about five years. An inspection with BYD engineers found the BMS and PCS working, all battery modules physically intact with no damage, cell voltages in very good ranges, and all HVDC equipment and associated parts present.Work needed before commissioning: a controlled charge and discharge to condition the cells, replacement of the fire suppression systems (pressure warnings), testing of the HVDC components outside the storage facility, and firmware commissioning with BYD engineering support. The original 60-month BYD warranty has expired.Technical documentation, schematics and the inspection findings are available to serious buyers, and a site inspection can be arranged. Offers invited.
