About Veolia
Veolia operates two battery recycling facilities in eastern France: EDI in Dieuze (processing 2,000 tpy Li-ion since 2013, including 1,000 tpy from EVs) and Cedilor in Amnéville (hydrometallurgy unit operational end 2023, 7,000 tpy black mass capacity). Combined operations dismantle batteries, produce black mass, and extract nickel, cobalt, and lithium salts for reuse in new batteries.
