Lithium Battery Recycling Solutions (LBRS) is a division of Cawleys (founded 1947), acquired by SUEZ in 2023. Operating a pioneering mechanical shredding facility in Luton since approx 2018. Processes lithium-ion batteries from EVs, e-bikes, and small cells. Recovers copper, aluminium, case metals, plastic separator and mixed recyclate flake. Harvests waste energy for facility power.
