What you're buying
Two Relyion 500 containerised battery energy storage systems, each rated 250 kW / 500 kWh (two-hour) with lithium-ion cells, 1,000 kWh in total. Each unit is housed in a 10 ft container with two 480 V, 140 kVA string inverters and five roof-mounted HVAC units, and is designed for a 480 V, 60 Hz grid connection.
The systems were installed but never placed in service because the utility did not approve the interconnection. The original manufacturer warranty is no longer available because the manufacturer has ceased operations. The buyer is responsible for removal and shipping. Cell supplier, and whether the cells were new or second-life when the systems were built, are not yet confirmed.
