Reference
The BYD Atto 3 Evo 74.8 kWh battery is the LFP Blade pack in the Atto 3 Evo from 2026. It is built into the car's body: the top of the pack forms the cabin floor.
Note: BYD gives a rated capacity. No source gives a separate usable figure, so we show the rated one.
Note: Sources disagree on the voltage. BYD and ADAC give an 800 V architecture, while electrive reports a lower nominal voltage for the battery. Check the label on the pack.
Each fact is confirmed by two independent sources: BYD's UK and European press material (one source), plus ADAC, electrive and InsideEVs. Facts we could not confirm twice are left out. Checked . Sources
Questions
Still unsure which pack is right? A specialist can check fitment with you.
Talk to a specialistGo by the name and the motor. The Atto 3 sold from 2023 has the 60.48 kWh pack and a 150 kW front motor. The Atto 3 Evo, from 2026, has the 74.8 kWh pack, with a 230 kW rear motor or 330 kW all-wheel drive. Send us a photo of the label and we will check.
No source says so. The Evo pack is bigger, 74.8 against 60.48 kWh, and is built into the car's floor, while the earlier pack is a separate unit. Treat them as different packs and check the label.
Sources disagree. A 2026 teardown of a newer Blade pack, built for China, found structural adhesive throughout that made it hard to take apart. A 2026 engineering review describes BYD's design as still serviceable. Ask a BYD specialist before you buy a pack to repair.
