About
Veolia North America collects batteries with its own transport, sorts them by chemistry and sends them to approved downstream processors. It takes alkaline, carbon-zinc, lead-acid, lithium, lithium-ion, nickel-cadmium, nickel-metal hydride and silver oxide batteries, including damaged or defective lithium batteries. Its US battery sites are in Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Arizona and Florida, and its 2026 purchase of Clean Earth added former Clean Earth sites in Pennsylvania, Florida, Virginia and California.
