Privacy policy, terms of service, and legal agreements on ReBattery.

Platform Agreements

Using ReBattery means agreeing to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. These documents govern how you interact with the marketplace, what you can list and offer, and how your data is handled.

You can read the Privacy Policy here:

The Terms of Service are accepted when you create your account. Contact us if you need a copy.

Recycler and Service Agreements

If you operate as a recycler on ReBattery, additional agreements apply:

  • Recycler partner agreement — outlines the standards for listing your services, handling enquiries, and completing recycling confirmations
  • Recycling service agreement — governs the terms under which recycling deals are formed between you and suppliers or buyers

Both agreements are reviewed during onboarding and are available to signed-in recyclers from their account settings.

Buyer-Network Opt-Out and Preferences

ReBattery may send operational notifications about relevant listings, deals, and market updates. You control which messages you receive through your notification preferences in account settings.

You can opt out of non-essential buyer-network communications at any time. Transactional messages — such as deal status updates, payment confirmations, and compliance alerts — cannot be disabled because they are required to complete platform workflows.

Data Handling Overview

ReBattery collects and stores the data necessary to run the marketplace safely and compliantly. This includes:

  • Business details — company name, registration, contact information, and tax identity
  • Deal records — offer terms, agreement versions, payment status, and collection confirmations
  • Communication logs — messages sent through deal workspaces and support threads

Data is retained for as long as needed for service delivery, legal obligations, and dispute handling. When a valid deletion request is received, data is deleted or anonymised according to legal and operational requirements.

[!WARNING] This page is a guide, not legal advice. For the exact terms that apply to your account, read the full legal documents linked above. If you need clarification on how a clause affects your business, consult your own legal advisor before agreeing.
